Apartment Archive has one affiliate arrangement: with Sicotas, through BixGrow. A coupon code in our name attributes an order to us, so we may earn a commission on that order. No retailer link on this site carries tracking of any kind, and the code is not published on any page today. Neither of those facts makes it something other than a commission arrangement, and we will not call it anything softer.

IKEA, the other retailer we specify from, has no arrangement with us at all. No arrangement changes what you pay: retailer links go to the retailer's own price, we hold no stock, and we mark nothing up.

Nothing about how a link is structured shapes the work. Layout logic, furnishing rationale, fit analysis and planning recommendations come from the floor plan -- its dimensions, circulation and proportions.

A product appears in a plan because it suits the unit, not because of how the link is structured.

You are never required to purchase through any link we provide. Every sourcing recommendation can be purchased directly from the retailer, found elsewhere, or substituted with something comparable.

The plan works either way.
